In terms of the 12-month harmonized price index of "Eurostat", inflation in Bulgaria is 2.8% with initial data for the eurozone of 2.9%. We expect to meet the price stability criterion for the eurozone in June as well. This was announced by Finance Minister Temenuzhka Petkova at a briefing.
"Regarding inflation in June - according to NSI data, the annual rate is 4.4% - it covers the period from June 2024 to now. Inflation since the beginning of the year is 2.4%. The monthly one for June is 0.4%, and the one for May was 0", explained Petkova.
