In a few months, "Vrana" Park will start accepting visitors again, and there will no longer be an entrance fee. This was announced by the regional governor of Sofia-city Stefan Arsov, quoted by BNT.

The procedure for transferring the ownership of the park-museum from the municipality to the state is in the final stages.

This has come to this point after Mayor Vasil Terziev issued an ultimatum in early July demanding that the Sofia Municipality officially receive the right to manage the property. However, the regional government refused and decided to take care of the park itself, with the government allocating 1,400,000 leva for the management of the park for one year.

Initially, the fence will be repaired, and then the dangerous trees will be removed. New ones will be planted when the funds are next allocated.

"Entrance will be free, because we are not allowed to conduct commercial activities, but I also want there to be free access so that absolutely everyone can enjoy the park. Once it is made accessible for visitors, I will request the municipality to reopen public transport there so that there is easy access", said Stefan Arsov, regional governor of Sofia.
