The water supply to Veliki Preslav will be stopped on August 26 due to planned repairs to the old water supply from the "Ticha" dam. This was announced by "Water Supply and Sewerage (ViK) – Shumen" EOOD on its website.
The announcement states that ViK – Shumen is carrying out activities in connection with the emergence of numerous problem areas and increased water loss.
The water supply to Veliki Preslav will be stopped at 10:30 a.m. on August 26. The activities are expected to be completed by the end of the day. The company adds that ViK – Shumen will inform its customers about the progress of the repair.
On July 23, due to a breakdown in the new water supply from the "Ticha" dam, the water supply to Shumen, "Makak" district, the villages of Panayot Volov and Belokopitovo was suspended.
