The captain of the boat that towed the parachute from which 8-year-old Ivan fell and died in Nessebar appealed the amount of bail announced by the court, announced Hristo Raev's lawyer.

He was released from custody with a cash bail of 5,000 leva.

Another mother of an 8-year-old child complained to BTV about poor treatment by the employees of a similar attraction in Nessebar.

In July last year, Tsvetelina's 7-year-old daughter went skydiving with her grandmother in Nessebar. She did not fill out a declaration for the child, and she never received answers to her questions about safety.

While they were putting on their harnesses and ropes, Tsvetelina asked the employees: “What will happen if the rope breaks.” They laughed, and I told them that I didn't find it funny and I want to know that it has happened. If it happens, what is the order, who does what? One of the employees asked me where I was from. I said I was from Pazardzhik and he told me – “That's exactly where they will land if the rope breaks.“ The attraction employees then were not the same as during the incident in Nessebar now.

This week, ministries and agencies must submit proposals for regulatory changes related to the regulation of attractions.

The ministries of tourism, sports, regional development and public works, as well as the economy must submit proposals by Wednesday to regulate attractions by water, air and land.

The regulatory framework is expected to introduce the regimes under which operators will work, the training and certification of instructors and guides, safety and emergency preparedness standards, medical and insurance coverage.
