The investigation continues into the murder of the 6-year-old boy in Sofia.
According to the Ministry of Interior, his father stabbed him several times with a knife, then committed suicide.
The police specify that in 2023 the man was admitted to a psychiatric facility for treatment, but after that he regularly took his prescribed medications.
The family had no financial difficulties, according to initial data from the crime.
