The investigation into poaching in an area near the town of Shipka continues, NOVA reported.
The killed red deer were one and two years old, reported the South-Eastern State Enterprise in Sliven.
The poaching has been going on since the night before Sunday, when the police detained a Varna judge in the case. It turns out that the hunting carbine found in his possession was without the necessary documents.
The animals were transported to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Stara Zagora to be examined. It will become clear today whether the prosecutor's office will file an indictment in the case.
