The office of the Political Party "Velichie" in Varna was destroyed in an intentional arson attack in the early hours of the night. Unknown persons broke a glass of the building and threw a "Molotov" cocktail inside, as a result of which the fire burned the entire office. The fire caused significant material damage worth over BGN 200,000, and three floors of the building are heavily smoky and will need major repairs. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.

The incident comes immediately after the participation of the leader of the PP "Velichie", Ivelin Mihailov, in the television program "Panorama". according to BNT. During the interview, Mihailov made revelations about connections between criminal groups and political parties, as well as with local rulers in Varna. This involvement is believed to be a possible motive for the attack.

From PP "Majesty" reacted sharply to the incident by issuing an official statement in which they condemned both the direct perpetrators and the sponsors of the attack, who they said were linked to certain political circles. The party states that this is not just an attack on them, but a direct attempt to silence the truth and attack freedom of speech in Bulgaria.

In his declaration from the PP "Majesty" highlight the following important points:

The attack has been defined as an attack on democracy and the rule of law, and the perpetrators and guarantors must be exposed and punished.

The party calls on the Ministry of the Interior to take immediate action to reveal the perpetrators and their guarantors, insisting on a fair and transparent process.

The leader of the party, Ivelin Mihailov, states that they will not succumb to attempts at intimidation and will continue to expose the connections between the criminal world and political structures.

The fire caused significant material damage, and the investigating authorities have already started work on the case. No arrests have been made so far, but the police are expected to take concrete steps in the coming days.
