A movie-style robbery took place in Sofia, the Ministry of Interior announced, quoted by Dariknews.bg. On December 24, the owner of an apartment in the “Mladost“ 1 district filed a report about the theft of 20 coins with numismatic value, 20,000 leva and 2,000 euros.
According to him, the assault was committed that morning between 5:30 and 9:30. The man said that early in the morning he was visited by a woman he knew only by first name.
However, the guest drugged him and when he woke up, he discovered that the coins and money were missing. Forensics have established the identity of the perpetrator, as well as the apartment occupied by her and the man she lives with.
The two were caught in different places. The man was caught in the “Knyazhevo“ district, and subsequently the perpetrator - in the apartment they used. There were 4 coins and 3,000 leva.
The 45-year-old woman and her 53-year-old boyfriend were detained for 24 hours, and the woman was charged and arrested for 72 hours. She is known to law enforcement for theft and drug-related crimes.
