Fly Me to the Moon and Gonna Fly Now performed by the world-famous drummer and the Razgrad Philharmonic under the direction of Levon Manoukyan were the surprise of the concert “The Classic Meeting Mike Terrana”.
The musical encounter between classical and rock captivated the audience in the hall of the Municipal Cultural Center. Classical pieces and beloved overtures were played on stage, but in a more unconventional way. Soprano Rositsa Metanieva joined the musical symbiosis. In addition to two classical works, she also sang a song by “Led Zeppelin” accompanied by Mike Terana.
„It's beautiful,”, Terana said during the performance of the song Fly Me to the Moon. The emotions of the drummer, the stormy applause of the audience turned the concert evening into an unforgettable experience. On several occasions, the drummer, the soloist and the Philharmonic brought the audience in the hall of the Municipal Cultural Center to their feet. And the symphonies thanked them by playing a kankan under the batons of Mike Terrana and Levon Manukyan.
After the premiere in Razgrad, the music project “ Classic meets Mike Terana“ will visit Dobrich (September 16), Silistra (September 17), Yambol (September 18) and Sliven (September 19). A European tour is also being prepared next year.
