21 songs have been included in the playlist for the crew of the ISS-74, including performances by the Russian band "Alice", Coldplay and Linkin Park, Roscosmos said. The musical selection will keep the astronauts on board the ISS on November 27.
"From the band "Alice" to Pharrell Williams - we have compiled all the songs that the astronauts will listen to on board the spacecraft before taking off for the stars", the Russian state corporation said in a statement.
The playlist includes "Slavic Sky" by "Alice", "Leave Out All the Rest" by Linkin Park and "A Sky Full of Stars" by Coldplay. The ISS-74 crew will also listen to "Rooks Have Come Home" by Nikolai Anisimov, "Starman" by British rock singer David Bowie and "Happy" by American musician Pharrell Williams.
The first crew of ISS-74, consisting of Russian cosmonauts Sergey Kud-Sverchkov and Sergey Mikaev, and NASA astronaut Christopher Williams, is scheduled to launch to the International Space Station on November 27 aboard the manned spacecraft "Soyuz MS-28". Their backups are cosmonauts Pyotr Dubrov and Anna Kikina, as well as astronaut Anil Menon.
The ship's return to Earth is scheduled for the end of July 2026. Over 40 scientific experiments and two spacewalks are planned for the expedition.
