American singer Beyonce has become the fifth musician on Forbes' list to have a fortune exceeding the billion-dollar mark.
According to Forbes, there are 22 artists on the billionaires list, five of whom are musicians. In addition to Beyonce, they include her husband Jay-Z, Bruce Springsteen, Rihanna and Taylor Swift.
Beyonce achieved this new status thanks to her 2024 album Cowboy Carter and the “highest-grossing concert tour“ this year.
Beyonce was born in 1981 in Texas. She is considered one of the most popular and influential female artists in the United States over the past two decades. She has sold over 200 million records and has won 32 Grammy Awards - more than any other artist.
