Woman offered to deliver the child of her 26-year-old daughter, who was born without a uterus, writes Daily Mail.
Britain Betty Mukherjee from Great Britain learned about the absence of a uterus when she was 16 years old. She still hadn't gotten her period, which scared her mother. She took her daughter to a gynecologist and the ultrasound showed that she was missing parts of her organs. Betty was diagnosed with Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome.
The diagnosis forces Mukherjee to give up his dream. She always wanted children and saw her calling as a teacher. “I realized that it would be too painful for me to be around children if I didn't have my own,”, the girl explained.
One of the manifestations of MRKH syndrome is an unformed vagina. This makes penetrative sex painful and in some cases impossible. The girl does not have such a problem, but still experiences difficulties in romantic relationships. She always tells her partner about the syndrome, which often leads to separation.
Mukherjee knows she can resort to surrogacy. She admits that once her mother offered to wear her child for her.
„You will have my womb at your disposal. "I don't need her anymore," said Mukherjee's relative. However, the girl admits that she is too jealous for that. For this reason, she is planning a uterus transplant.
