In Great Britain, a teacher was sentenced to eight years in prison for seducing a 10-year-old boy and sex with him, writes Huddersfield Daily Examiner.
61-year-old Denise Poval was found guilty of crimes committed at the turn of the century. Her victim contacted the police many years after the contact with Poval. The young man stated that the woman's behavior "deeply affected his life".
The investigation found that Poval, who was then working at a school in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, organized a “vicious and deliberate“ campaign to seduce the student. She sent him numerous text messages, showered him with gifts and then performed “numerous sexual acts” with him.
After the accusations were made, the elderly woman first denied them, but later pleaded guilty. Police said Poval still has no remorse for his crime.
„What we found could be described as severe, prolonged sexual abuse of a child by a pedophile,” Detective Alison Morris, who is leading the case, told the court.
