The reconstruction of the "Bulgarian Army" stadium is entering a completely new phase. Preparations for digging the field have begun. This includes the construction of a heating and irrigation system, writes "24 hours", quoted by Topsport.
The work on the steel structure of sector "A" is almost complete. Work on the facade of the central stand is about to begin.
The plans are for the stadium to be ready next summer. The project envisages "Bulgarian Army" to meet UEFA category 4 with a number of the most up-to-date amenities for a quality experience for sports fans.
The stadium will have field heating and drainage. There will also be an irrigation system with water recycling. All seats will be covered, and sound systems, state-of-the-art LED lighting and solar panels will complete the overall vision of the large-scale project. It is also planned to plant 300 new trees in Borisova Gradina, returning significant amounts of park space to the Sofia Municipality.
