Former Chelsea player: Conte is a disaster as a person, he must not have had enough sex - 1

Striker Diego Costa returned to his stay at Chelsea and his relationship with manager Antonio Conte, not sparing harsh words about the Italian specialist. The former striker of the “Blues“ and Atletico Madrid recalled his period at “Stamford Bridge“, when he played a key role in the club's championship title in the 2016/2017 season, Gong.bg reported.

At that time, Costa scored 20 goals in the Premier League and was among the main figures in the Chelsea squad. However, just a year later, Conte informed him that he was no longer in his plans, which led to the striker's return to Atletico.

“It is not normal for a coach not to rely on his top scorer. I explained that I did not deserve such treatment after my contribution to Chelsea's successes. He told me that such behavior was unacceptable”, Costa shared on John Obi Mikel's podcast.

The Brazilian's criticism of Conte does not stop there, as he questions not only the professional but also the human qualities of the coach.

“He probably had some ulterior motives, because he knew how unfair the situation was. As a person, he is the worst thing you can have on a daily basis. He does not trust others. He thinks he knows everything. You do not enjoy training with him. He is angry all the time, he looks gloomy, he is full of bitterness. "Maybe he didn't have enough sex at home," he added, drawing a parallel with his relationship with Jose Mourinho, who brought him to Stamford Bridge in 2014.

"For me, Mourinho was the coach I was most happy with because he gives you life. You come to training happy".

Costa admits that the breakup with Chelsea was painful because he felt extremely good at the club and in the dressing room, but he chose not to deepen the conflict.

"It's a shame because I felt very happy at Chelsea. But I didn't want to create a problem for the club. My teammates wanted me to come back. None of them liked him. That's why he didn't stay long. The title he won with Chelsea, he won with me, unfortunately for him", the Brazilian added.
