The leader in the scheme Carlos Alcaraz (Spain) won the title of the hard court tennis tournament in Doha (Qatar) of the ATP 500 series with a prize fund of 2,833,335 dollars for the first time in his career, BTA reported.

The 22-year-old Spaniard made another impressive performance and defeated the Frenchman Arthur Fiss 6:2, 6:1 in just 50 minutes to secure the trophy.

Alcaraz's triumph in Qatar comes just 20 days after he became the youngest tennis player in history to make a career Grand Slam with all four major titles, after becoming the champion of the Australian Open.

From From the start, he dictated the game, striking early and defending with his solid physique. Even after Fiss stepped up his game and began trading shots from the baseline, the Spaniard repeatedly made spectacular plays on the ball, extending his winning streak to 12 matches.

The triumph marked Alcaraz's ninth career ATP 500 title, tying him with former world No. 1 Andy Murray for the fourth-highest tally in the category since its inception in 2009.
