Valentin Mihov with a shocking confession: I was a hostage to a man from the underworld - 1

I was a hostage to a man from the underworld. This was revealed by the former CSKA boss Valentin Mihov to Mont Deux on NOVA.

“A positive person who tried to do only good”, as he defines himself, and what he cannot accept in a Bulgarian is that he forgot to say “thank you” and ”sorry”. Valio Mihov continues to believe in the good in himself, but his personal bitter experience with the human soul has made him rather closed and cautious.

Where has this class disappeared in people?

In narcissism. Many complex people. They look in the mirror, they look: “Oh, how beautiful, I'm going to be rich”. Take a million, fight for the second. Take a billion, fight for the second. What will I do with them? Where will I go? When I was penniless, you may not know, I went through very difficult times... This is my second life. I was on the verge of life and death.

What happened?

It's very hard for me to go back. I came across people from the underworld. They used my kindness. We met like any normal person. I never see anything bad in him. Until the moment he started using me, he started threatening the most beloved people in my family - the children. The granddaughters. Redemption, payment.

Was this a famous person?

Yes, famous, yes. A famous person from the underworld. He held me hostage for 3 years. And he was extorting money. Yes, and when my friends wanted to help me, I contacted certain people who could help me. I'm talking about responsible people. And then the warning was go, we'll help you. But some of our people work with them.

Why did this person constantly physically harass you?

For money. He took everything I had. These are, let's not say numbers, but over 100 thousand euros. And he gave them away for interest, and he lived his life and so on. And not only from me.

What changed as a person in you after this incident?

Well, I became more precise with the people who should be by my side. You don't know what I represented. The eyes, the surgeries, whatever. I wouldn't wish it on anyone, even my worst enemy. I don't know. Apparently kindness doesn't always come back. The guy above knocked on my door with something. I really changed my mind a lot after this incident. I changed. I closed myself off a bit. I pretended. I don't give myself out that much.

Did your family have a hard time getting through these past few years?

Very. Very hard. Alive and well now. It was a very difficult time. And finally, a person helped me, who was again led by this type of person. He helped me and took me to another person. From there, a little enlightenment began. But the cleanest thing was done by a boy by accident, without wanting to be bothered. He skinned him, fell on his head, hit his head, went into a coma and died. This... I will never call him a man. He is a monster. He is not a man. He ruined my life. I can't be the same. I am not the man I was. It changed me a lot, but it made me be more careful about people's mentality, not to be like that... The fool I was. It's a system, it's not politics. It's like that everywhere. I don't know how it is in Europe, but in Bulgaria, with my people, with our people, and with connections, as I say, if they decide to purge you, they will purge you.
