Elena Rybakina from Kazakhstan won the title of the Stuttgart UTA 500 tennis tournament on clay. In the final, she defeated Czech Karolina Muchova in two sets - 7:5, 6:1. The match ended in an hour and 18 minutes on the court, BTA reported.

This is Rybakina's second trophy in 2026 after winning the Australian Open.

In the first set, Rybakina started very strongly with a break in the second game and a 3:0 lead to begin with, but Muchova returned the break in the ninth game for 5:4, and then tied on her own serve. The key was the 12th game, in which Rybakina missed two break points before converting the third for 7:5.

The champion was much more convincing in the second part, in which she was more by 5:0 and only then did the Czech win her first game, but then Rybakina closed the match.

Rybakina made three aces to Muchova's two, but was much better in her returns and her own serve games.

Elena Rybakina won her 13th singles title. She wins 500 ranking points and a check for 161,310 euros from the total prize pool of just over a million of the common European currency. Karolina Muchova received a check for 99,565 euros.
