The organizers of the Paris Olympic Games have postponed the skateboarding competitions for men because of the unsuitable conditions in the French capital. This was announced by the World Skate international federation on social networks, BTA reported.
During the opening ceremony of Paris 2024, it rained and continued to fall through the night.
"Due to the weather conditions, a meeting of the organizers of the Games and the skating tournament was organized at night. "It has been decided to postpone the men's competition to Monday, June 29," World Skate reported. The post also includes a photo of the flooded ramp in Paris.
The competition on Monday keeps its original schedule - 14:00 Bulgarian time for the screenings and 17:00 for the finals.
