A bus full of journalists crashed on the way to the main press center of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris, Wakako Yuki, a journalist from the Japanese publication Imiuri Shimbun, which was injured in the accident.
The opening ceremony of the Paris Games ended late last night. After the end, several hundred journalists returned to the press center with the official buses.
"The bus, making a maneuver, rammed its side into a large black metal pole. The driver was shocked to see several people, including me, fall to the floor as a result of the collision. "I still have pain in my arm, but it's nothing serious," Yuki said.
"The bus was full, there were no empty seats. The driver was in shock, didn't say a word and we had to yell at him to open the doors. We went outside and despite the rain, we decided to go to the nearest metro station instead of waiting for the next bus," she added.
