Radoslav Rosenov debuted with a victory at the Olympic Games in Paris. The Bulgarian boxer dealt with Bahadur Usmonov from Tajikistan in the category up to 63.5 kilograms. The national team won by a full decision, and in addition, he had to deal with an arcade that he received during the match.
In front of BNT, Rosenov said that he came to the French capital for the gold. Here's what he said:
„I was very calm before going into the ring. I didn't think that I was at the Olympics at all, I told myself that it was a national championship, that I would be more relaxed and play it without stress and tension. That's how I started from the first round, I saw that the match was going very well for me and I continued like that until the end of the third.“
The Bulgarian also commented on the arcade I had to deal with during the match.
„The arcade didn't stop me because I've played a lot of arcade games. I'm here for gold, so whether it's arcade or not, I'm ready to beat everyone in Paris. In the third round, I relaxed a little more after seeing the president Rumen Radev, Stefka Kostadinova and the Bulgarian audience, I wanted to show a better game so that all the people from the Bulgarian audience will be happy, added Rosenov, who will meet Wyatt in the next phase Sanford from Canada.
