Bulgarian boxing recorded a second victory at the Olympic tournament in Paris 2024. Rami Kiwan made a successful debut at the Games and qualified for the round of 16 in the 71 kg category after recorded an undisputed victory over Poland's Damian Durkach with 5:0 judges' votes.
After the first round, the referees gave an advantage to the Pole with 3:2 votes. In the second part, Kewan won a unanimous decision of the judges. The Bulgarian won the third round in exactly the same way. During the match, Durkac received two warnings for holding his head too low.
In his next match, Rami Kewan will face Shannon Davey (Australia), who is resting in the first round of the boxing tournament in Paris 2024. The match between the two will be on July 31 and according to the preliminary program, it should start at 12:32 hours Bulgarian time.
As is known, on Saturday Radoslav Rosenov also started his participation in the Olympic Games with a victory.
