Tokyo 2020 Olympic bronze medalist in the 110m hurdles Ronald Levy of Jamaica was banned for four years for violating anti-doping rules, reports Television Jamaica, BTA reported.
The athlete received a letter with the relevant decision from the Anti-Doping Commission of Jamaica on August 21. His period of disqualification begins on November 1, 2023, when he received provisional sanctions for a positive doping test.
Levy has the right to appeal the decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne. The 31-year-old last competed at international level in 2022 at the World Indoor Championships in Serbia. Then he was only 26th in the ranking of 60 meters hurdles.
