England captain Harry Kane scored a hat-trick in another convincing victory for Bayern ( Munich) – 4:0 over Stuttgart in a match from the 7th round of the Bundesliga. With this success, the Bavarians returned to the top of the standings with 17 points, but are ahead of RB Leipzig on goal difference.

The victory ended a run of four consecutive matches without success for the Bavarians, and the derby of the round pitted 3rd and 2nd in the final standings from last year. But nothing foreshadowed such a development after the first part ended 0:0.

Kane opened the scoring in the 57th minute after receiving a pass from Joshua Kimmich, set off at speed and before entering the penalty area sent the ball into the bottom corner. Three minutes later, he made it 2-0, adding the ball into the net from close range, which ended up at him from a lucky ricochet.

In the 67th minute, he missed another chance. The Englishman mastered a perfect pass in the penalty area, freed up space for a shot, but it went just over the crossbar.

However, in the 80th minute he completed his hat-trick after once again being the smartest on a loose ball. After just two minutes, Kane scored for the fourth time, but the goal was disallowed due to an ambush.

But anyway, a fourth goal fell, but it was the work of Kingsley Coman a minute before the end of regular time.

The victory should give confidence ahead of next week's visit to Barcelona in the Champions League, currently led by former coach Hanzi Flick.

However, there is bad news for the Bavarians from today. Already in the 8th minute, midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovich was forcibly replaced due to a shoulder injury. The exact diagnosis, as well as the extent of absence from the field, will become clear tomorrow after an examination with nuclear magnetic resonance.
