The best Bulgarian competitor Alexandra Feigin won the women's title at the State Figure Skating Championship for all ages, which is held at the Winter Palace in Sofia.
The representative of the Ice Dance Club Denkova-Staviski collected a total of 189.85 points, after being first in both the short and free programs with scores of 62.47 and 127.38 points, respectively. She became the national champion for the eighth time in her career.
Her teammate Kristina Grigorova came in second with 147.84, and Galena Todorova (Varna) came in third with 116.21.
In the men's category, Alexander Zlatkov (Elite) won the gold medal with 209.50 points, followed by Beat Šumperli (Elite) with 177.38 and Filip Kaimakchiev (Ice Peak) with 153.43 points.
Deyan Mihaylov from Elite became the junior champion with 159.48 points, and second and third were Rosen Peev (Slavia) with 113.83 and Kaloyan Nalbantov (Slavia) with 84.38 points, respectively.
In the girls' category, Liya Lyubenova (Elite) came in first with 143.23 points, ahead of Kiara Hristova (Ice Dance Denkova-Staviski) with 141.11, Krista Georgieva (Elite) with 133.44 points and others. 16 competitors participated in the category.
The State Figure Skating Championship continues on Saturday and Sunday with the younger age groups.
