New England manager Thomas Tuchel has said that midfielder Jude Bellingham needs to be a bit more disciplined to reach his full potential.
The 21-year-old Real Madrid player has already won 41 caps for England, scoring six times. On Friday, he assisted the Three Lions' first goal in a 2-0 win over Albania in their opening World Cup qualifier in Mexico, the United States and Canada. England host Latvia on Monday.
"Jude is always ready to give his all for the national team, but we have to help him too. "Our game has to be such that he can have an influence but also conserve his energy. He is one of the leaders of our team and we have to make sure that we are all moving in the same direction so that we can help each other more easily. That also includes a more disciplined game, more economical so that there is energy for the decisive moments," Tuchel explained.
"He is a very emotional player. He always talks to the referees. When he is on the pitch you see that he hates to lose. That is why he does all this," added the German England manager.
