After several days of battles in the Club World Cup, it is time for Real Madrid to join the competition, sportal.bg reported.
Tonight at 22:00 Bulgarian time, the “Kings” will face Al-Ahly in Florida in a match from Group “H”, which also includes Pachuca and Red Bull (Salzburg).
The match will be special because it will be the debut for both coaches - Xabi Alonso (Real Madrid) and Simone Inzaghi (Al-Hilal).
After the disappointing past season in Europe, the “Whites” from the “Bernabeu” are undergoing a change in movement and now we will see if the mood has returned. Coach Carlo Ancelotti has been replaced, and the team now includes Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Hausen. The other new signing - Franco Mastantuono, participated in the tournament with River Plate, after which he will join the “ballet”. Typically in their style, Real announced a desire for ultimate success in the tournament to mark its new expanded format.
Al-Hilal is also interesting. This is the new club of Simone Inzaghi, who left Inter after the heavy loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final. Like Real, the team from Riyadh suffered disappointment on home soil in Saudi Arabia, where they lost their title. It is full of popular names from European football - Joao Cancelo, Ruben Neves, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Renan Lodi and others.
