The Transfermarkt portal estimates the player's transfer value at 10 million euros.

Former Italian international Marco Verratti, who is the 2021 European champion, has purchased 50 percent of the shares of his hometown club Pescara, reports the newspaper "Gazzetta dello Sport".

He made his professional football debut in 2009 in Pescara, where he played alongside Lorenzo Insigne and Ciro Immobile. Three years later, he moved to Paris Saint-Germain, where he stayed for 11 years. The midfielder currently plays for Qatari side Al Duhail, having previously been at Al Arabi.

Marco Verratti has recently invested in a restaurant in Paris and in a company run by his wife Jessica Aida.
