Cherno More won the Varna derby after defeating Spartak 3:1 as a guest. With their success, the "sailors" already have 11 points and are in third place in the provisional standings. Spartak remains with 3 points and is still without a win since the start of the championship, BTA reported.
Before the start of the match, the legend of Varna football Ivan Petrov, who has defended the colors of both Spartak 1918 Varna and Cherno More, received awards from both clubs on the occasion of his 70th anniversary.
The two teams played an interesting first half. The guests managed to open the score in the second minute of the match. Georgi Lazarov broke through from the right, advanced and with a nice diagonal shot brought Cherno More ahead in the score. In the 6th minute, Nikolay Zlatev managed to intercept the ball after a cross from the right by Georgi Lazarov, but the ball bounced off the post.
In the 11th minute, Bernardo Couto crossed into the Cherno more penalty area, and Angel Granchov intercepted the ball with his head, but goalkeeper Plamen Iliev managed to clear it. Spartak 1918 Varna managed to equalize in the 12th minute. In the 89th minute, Assen Donchev crossed softly from the right into the home team's penalty area, and Felipe Cardozo was the first to reach the ball and with a shot from several meters, he shaped the final score - 3:1 for Cherno More.
