Former CSKA footballer Georgi Iliev is adamant that there are no leaders in the club. In an interview for the show Arena Sport" he shared his opinion on the performance of Levski, Arda, Ludogorets and CSKA.

According to him, "the Blues" need a goal scorer to complete the look of the club.

"Levski played great matches. They also had a few problems with the referees. Levski already has a team. This is good for Bulgaria. They only need to buy one goal scorer and they will have a wonderful team. Borislav Rupanov is applying to be one. The best thing for Bulgaria is that three teams play in Europe. This is reviving Bulgarian football. The best thing is that Levski has Nasko Sirakov and Daniel Borimirov. This Spaniard will make a good coach because he knows the lineup and the substitutions. He has a serious role in waking up Levski," shared the former Bulgarian national team player.

Iliev is happy with the fact that Arda is achieving success with many Bulgarians in its lineup.

"Arda has a good owner, and Kardzhali has a good mayor. They don't interfere in Alexander Tunchev's affairs. Arda plays quite professional football. They play well tactically in Europe. They have very good players and play a lot of Bulgaria," added Iliev.

He hopes Ludogorets will qualify for the main phase of the Europa League.

"Ludogorets has no analogue in Bulgaria. They were eliminated from Europe because they didn't play well. Ludogorets continues the history of Bulgarian football, which is not good for CSKA and Levski. A strong team is one that plays in European tournaments. The difference between the teams in Bulgaria and those in the Champions League is huge," added the analyst.

The former champion with CSKA claims that the experiments in CSKA lead nowhere.

"We test all kinds of directors, players and coaches. I can't understand how CSKA chooses people. In a club that has no financial problems, there are 4-5 players sent to the second team. They cost 12-15 million euros. The relationship between the coach, sports director and players is not right. These players do not take a little money. When we build the stadium and the base in Pancharevo, we will put things in order. Let's give Boyko Velichkov time. In CSKA, there are no personalities and leaders in the management and the team. The leaders are Lyubo Penev and Stoycho Mladenov. I do not agree that Gustavo Buasto is a leader. Dushan Kerkez mixes up the lineup and the substitutions. The CSKA locker room does not accept him," concluded Iliev.
