The energy and port infrastructure in the Odessa region was massively attacked at night, the chairman of the Odessa regional military administration Oleg Kiper announced in the Telegram application, BTA reported.
Two drone attacks were carried out. Despite the active work of the air defense, which shot down most of the drones, there were targets hit at the port and energy infrastructure sites," Kiper said.
According to his information, fires broke out as a result of the strikes, which firefighters extinguished in time.
Damage was caused to the road surface, production machinery and equipment.
The Bulgarians in the Odessa region number over 150,000 people and are the third largest according to the latest official census in Ukraine. About 50-60 thousand Bulgarians live in the city of Odessa itself. The largest compact Bulgarian population is concentrated in the Bolgradsky, Izmailsky and Belgorod-Dniester regions.
