We demand that Ukraine provide a report on how much European taxpayers' money fell victim to a corrupt network. This was stated today by Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Péter Szijjártó after the meeting of EU foreign ministers, quoted by Izvestia, writes Focus.
Hungary also states that it wants the report to include "the subsidies it received from the European Union, what it used European money for, and how much European taxpayers' money fell victim to a corrupt network. How much money did the military mafia steal from the European people? How much money has the corrupt system of governance operating in Ukraine spent from EU funds?"
Referring to the corruption scandal in Ukraine, Szijjártó called it "the most serious in the history of European politics".
Speaking to Hungarian journalists, he said that the EU is considering proposals to include a ban on Russian oil supplies and cooperation with Russia in the field of nuclear energy in the 20th package of sanctions.
