Russian air defenses have shot down a drone heading for Moscow, the capital's mayor, Sergei Sobyanin, said, quoted by Reuters, BTA reports.
The threat briefly forced Moscow's Domodedovo airport to impose temporary restrictions on all its flights.
Sobyanin Said in a statement that emergency services are working at the site of falling debris from the downed drone.
Moscow's Zhukovsky Airport also imposed temporary flight restrictions after restrictions at Domodedovo were lifted, Russian aviation regulator "Rosaviatsiya" said.
