Ukraine wants "real peace, not reconciliation" with Russia. This was stated by the country's Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), quoted by "Reuters".
"We still remember the names of those who betrayed future generations in Munich (the Munich Agreement - ed. note). This must never happen again. "Principles must be inviolable and we need real peace, not reconciliation," Szybiga stressed in his speech.
The foreign minister noted that Europe has had too many unfair peace agreements in the past, adding that "all of them have only led to new catastrophes."
However, Andriy Szybiga thanked the US for the progress in peace efforts and promised that Ukraine would "use every opportunity to try to end this war."
