The meeting between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which was held within the framework of the World Economic Forum in Davos, ended after an hour of talks, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
Ukrinform quoted the spokesman for the Ukrainian president, Serhiy Nikiforov, as saying: "The meeting is over".
Before the meeting, Zelensky had said that three documents, namely a peace agreement, security guarantees and a prosperity agreement, were almost ready.
After the conversation, Trump said that his meeting with the Ukrainian president in Davos was "very good" and that his message to Russian President Vladimir Putin is that the war in Ukraine must end.
The meeting did not discuss Ukrainian President Zelensky's participation in the Peace Council, established at an official event in Davos earlier today.
Trump spoke briefly to reporters after the meeting with Zelensky, Reuters notes.
