Volodymyr Zelensky: I am younger than Putin, he doesn't have much time left - 1

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasizes in an interview with the European editorial office of Politico that he is younger than Russian President Vladimir Putin and that he "doesn't have that much time".

"I think Putin is also in a difficult position, because I can talk to you, shake hands, I'm not afraid, I want to be free...

I am here, I am a free man. And I am younger than Putin. Believe me, this is important. He doesn't have much time. Thank God, not for long“.

Speaking of the possibility of holding elections in Ukraine, Zelensky said that 90% of Ukrainians do not support holding elections during a war.

“If President Trump helps me by putting pressure on Putin to reach a ceasefire in 2-3 months, we will hold elections“, Zelensky promised.

When asked how exactly Trump should put pressure on Putin, Zelensky pointed to three steps: to give Ukraine strong security guarantees, a package for the reconstruction of Ukraine, and to call Putin with a request to “stop where he is now“.

“But if Putin refuses, Trump must give us everything we need to save and defend ourselves and remain strong. "But I think we should end the war, not continue fighting," Zelensky added.
