Dmitry Peskov: We do not accept such accusations! We did not poison Navalny with tree frog toxin - 1

The Kremlin categorically rejected today the accusations by five European countries that it killed Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny with the deadly toxin epibatidine, released by certain species of tree frogs in South America, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.

Great Britain, France, Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands accused Moscow in a joint statement of killing Navalny in an Arctic colony, two years after his death today.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in response to a reporter's question today that Moscow's reaction to the West's allegations was "extremely negative".

"Naturally, we do not accept such accusations. We do not agree with them. For us, they are biased and groundless. And, in fact, we categorically reject them", Peskov pointed out.

On the other hand, he noted that during the trilateral Russia-Ukraine-US talks in Geneva tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, "important issues", including territorial ones, will be discussed.

Peskov specified that Russian President Vladimir Putin's advisor Vladimir Medinsky, the head of military intelligence Igor Kostyukov and Moscow's special envoy Kirill Dmitriev will be the negotiators on the Russian side.
