The United States carried out three strikes on boats in the eastern Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean, killing 11 people, Reuters reports.
According to US military data, four men were killed in the first strike, four more in the second, and three in the last.
"Intelligence confirmed that the boats were traveling along known drug trafficking routes and were involved in drug trafficking operations," the US Southern Command said on the social network X.
