The US will bitterly regret the "precedent" it created after a US submarine sank an Iranian warship off the coast of Sri Lanka, warned today Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, quoted by Reuters, writes BTA.
The frigate "IRIS Dena" with almost 130 sailors on board, visiting the Indian Navy, was hit by a US strike - in international waters and without warning - Araghchi wrote on the social platform "Ex".
"The US will bitterly regret the precedent it has set," he said.
The US and Israel launched a military operation against Iran on Saturday, with one of the airstrikes killing Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
