The Iranian Navy said today that it fired cruise missiles at the US aircraft carrier "Abraham Lincoln" and warned that more attacks would be launched, Agence France-Presse reported, quoted by BTA.
The statement says the missiles forced the warship stationed in the Persian Gulf to be "relocated".
The aircraft carrier's movement is "under constant surveillance... and as soon as the enemy fleet enters the range of our missile systems, it will be subjected to powerful strikes," warned the commander of the Iranian Navy, Admiral Shahram Irani.
