Ukrainian power workers, repair crews and construction workers worked tirelessly all week on recovery efforts after the Russian strikes, bringing normal life to Ukraine.
This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his evening video address, reports "Ukrinform".
By name, the head of state wanted to list and thank employees from different areas of the country who distinguished themselves with their work during these days and weeks.
These are the people working on recovery efforts after the Russian strikes, as well as protecting energy facilities in various regions. There are many of them and they literally save the normal life of our country. These are TPP employees, engineers, distributors and electricians. These are the people who restore generation and power. I would like to thank everyone who works so hard to ensure that Ukraine can live normally.
Russian terrorists are currently carrying out such heinous attacks in an attempt to usurp Ukraine's power. We have sent the necessary signals and specific requests to all our partners who have the necessary air defense systems and missiles. America, Europe and other partners know exactly what we need, and they all understand how important it is to help Ukraine defend itself against these strikes right now. I thank all the leaders who are showing leadership right now, especially those who are really honoring our agreements and keeping their word, he said.
Zelensky also spoke about another topic - the changes in the institutions, which he continues to do.
We continue to reboot our government institutions. Several changes have been made this week and there are still more solutions in the works. Today, new decrees were issued regarding councilors, Zelensky said.
As usual, he also spent time on what was happening at the front.
As almost always in this war, our mobile fire groups, other units of the Air Defense and Air Force had a job - successfully intercepted targets. I thank all the soldiers and commanders who protect us and save Ukraine from Russian terror. On that day, the fighters from the mobile fire groups in Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Kherson and our Odesa region distinguished themselves, the president reported.
