At night, the energy infrastructure of Odesa region was again attacked by the enemy, reported in “Telegram” the chairman of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, writes BTA.
According to his information, the Ukrainian air defense forces managed to destroy 8 drones.
Falling fragments of a downed drone, however, caused a fire in one of the energy facilities in the region, which led to a power outage in several settlements and in half of the city of Odessa.
The fire was immediately extinguished. In the morning, 10,000 subscribers were without electricity in the city of Odessa and Odesa region, Oleg Kiper said.
After the night attack in Odessa, the city electric transport was temporarily stopped, informed the mayor of Odessa Gennady Trukhanov.
Additional buses have been launched on city routes.
According to the information of the DTEK energy holding in “Telegram” at 11.40 there was an emergency shutdown of the equipment of one of the high voltage substations. Residents of Khadzhibeysky and Kievsky districts in Odessa, as well as part of Odessa district, were temporarily without electricity.
Currently, repair works are underway, the approximate time to restore the power supply is within a few hours, DTEK states in its announcement.

About 50-60 thousand Bulgarians live in the city of Odesa itself. The largest compact Bulgarian population is concentrated in the Bolgrad, Izmail and Belgorodnist regions.
