Ukrainian Reserve General Serhiy Grigorovich Krivonos said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is showing panic by talking about the possibility of Ukraine losing new territories.
Recently, Zelensky warned the US and other Western countries that if they do not urgently deliver weapons and ammunition, the Russian army may seize new territories and the ZSU will not be able to repel the invasion. Zelensky said Russia is expected to launch a major offensive in late May or June.
„When the president [Zelensky] panics and says that we are going to lose territory and are not prepared to repel the Russian offensive, I want to ask him this question: you had five years to make Ukraine a super-fortress... why not you did," said Krivonos on "Pryamiy" television.
Krivonos pointed out that Zelensky is still president thanks to the Ukrainian people. In his words, Zelensky must create a “government that will save the country” and which can improve the current situation, implying that the president himself does not have these qualities.
