Lebanese group “Hezbollah“ reported that it carried out an attack with ballistic missiles and drones against an Israeli military base in Arab Al Aramshe, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
According to the group, the attack was in response to yesterday's killing of at least three members and commanders of “Hezbollah” in southern Lebanon from Israel, specifies France Press.
Israel reported for the third day in a row several people injured in attacks carried out by “Hezbollah”.
During today's attack near the village of Arab Al Aramshe in northern Israel, 14 people were injured, two of them seriously, Nahariya hospital announced in a press release.
The Israeli army noted that it had recorded “fire coming from Lebanon in the Arab Al Aramsheh” area, and added that it had bombed a place where the fire came from, as well as a “military complex” of “Hezbollah“ in Aita al-Shaab in southern Lebanon.
Since the beginning of the war in the Gaza Strip between Israel and “Hamas” on October 7, “Hezbollah“ attacks Israel daily in support of its allies in the Palestinian Islamist movement.
The frequent exchange of fire between Israel and “Hezbollah” comes amid heightened regional tensions following Iran's unprecedented attack on Israel, which Tehran said was in retaliation for an alleged Israeli strike on its consulate in Syria.
The fighters of “Hezbollah“ carried out a complex attack with guided ballistic missiles and drones with explosives against the command post of a “recognizable company” of the Israeli army, the pro-Iranian group said in a statement.
A little earlier, the Regional Council of Northern Israel's Upper Galilee region reported that three people were injured during a drone strike launched from Lebanon.
