Ukraine has attacked several sites in Russia and the illegally annexed Crimean peninsula with drones and missiles, DPA reported, citing the RBC-Ukraine news agency, BTA reports.

According to RBC-Ukraine, one of the drone targets was an aircraft factory in Kazan, where the "Tupolev" 22M and 160M strategic bombers are assembled and repaired. The factory is located nearly 1,000 km from Ukrainian-controlled territories.

Several explosions were reported near the factory. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, an unmanned aircraft of the type of aircraft was intercepted over the Republic of Tatarstan.

According to Ukrainian media, another attack was directed at a radar station near the town of Kovylkino in the Republic of Mordovia, about 600 km from the border with Ukraine. The Russian Defense Ministry reports that the drone attack was repelled.
