Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian told representatives of Muslim countries at the UN headquarters in New York that the drones that attacked the city of Isfahan, which sources said were sent by Israel, did not cause material damage and caused no casualties, Reuters reported, citing Iranian media reports cited by BTA.
"Media supporters of the Zionist regime made a desperate attempt to see victory in their defeat, but the downed minidrones did not cause any damage or casualties,'' Abdolakhian said.
After the attack, Tehran said it had no plans to retaliate. Israel has not made a public comment on the incident, Reuters notes.
