The issue of Gaza is currently the most important issue for the Islamic world. Gaza is where the Islamic world must come together, seek a solution and develop a realistic and effective policy. We will continue to discuss these issues with both Hamas representatives and the leaders of many countries, Erdogan said.
The first item on our agenda is this issue and we will continue to do everything we can to find a solution. Everyone can ignore and forget this issue, but we cannot have such an approach, said the Turkish leader, quoted by CNN-Turk TV.
He indicated that “Turkey will continue to expose Israel's crimes and counter them”. Erdogan once again made a sharp statement to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom he described as the “Hitler of our time”. The Turkish head of state emphasized that Netanyahu and his supporters “will not escape responsibility”, Anadolu Agency informed.
"We are one flesh and blood with our Palestinian brothers and share their pain,", Erdogan added.
The Turkish president also said that he does not believe that the leadership of Hamas will leave Qatar, where it is based.
