Austrian security services are investigating a series of explosions, possibly aimed at representatives " "Jehovah's Witnesses", after the car of a member of the religious sect was set on fire on Friday, reported DPA, quoted by BTA.
Eyewitnesses to the incident in the town of Premschetten, located in the southern province of Styria, said they heard a sound "like an explosion". As in previous similar cases, there were no injuries.
In August of last year in two vehicles of "Jehovah's Witnesses" in Styria, bombs were detonated while their owners attended a prayer meeting. At the end of March, a defused working explosive device was also found at the entrance to the meeting hall of the religious community in Styria.
