Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and former Ukrainian head of state Petro Poroshenko, who were recently declared wanted, disappeared from the database of persons wanted by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, TASS reported, quoted by BTA.
"No information on your request," the Russian Interior Ministry database said when entering the names of the two leaders, without providing further information.
Zelensky and Poroshenko were placed on the wanted list on May 4 in connection with criminal charges against them. The published information did not specify under which articles of the Criminal Code the charges were brought. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russian investigators have declared the two Ukrainian leaders wanted as part of an investigation into crimes committed by the Kyiv regime, TASS recalls.
