Moscow to Warsaw: Share with the world what you know about the Nord Stream attacks - 1

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, advised Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski to share information about Washington's involvement in undermining the "Nord Stream".

"It would be better for the Polish foreign minister to say what he knows about the attacks in the "Nord Stream" and about Washington's role in this crime," she told "Ivestia".

Her comment was in response to a statement by Sikorsky, who said the US would destroy Russian positions in Ukraine if the Russian Federation used nuclear weapons.

Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov earlier noted that Western leaders practice nuclear rhetoric on a daily basis and stressed that Russia does not want to participate in these exercises. Peskov also reminded that Moscow can use nuclear weapons only in accordance with the provisions of its nuclear doctrine.

Russia regularly conducts nuclear exercises. Her latest teachings this week are not an escalation. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He made his comments during a press conference in Minsk after two days of talks with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko.

Putin pointed out that the only difference this time was that the drills included Belarus, where Russia announced last year that it had tactical nuclear missiles.

We remind you that on May 21, Russia began the first stage of its military exercises with tactical nuclear weapons. Belarus will also join the second stage of the exercises.

The "Nord Stream" gas pipelines 1 and 2, carrying Russian gas to Germany under the Baltic Sea, were damaged by a series of explosions in Swedish and Danish waters in September 2022.

After the incident, Danish police reported that they had been hit by powerful explosions, and Swedish investigators confirmed that traces of explosives found at the scene strongly indicated that there had been sabotage.

Russia and the West blame each other for the accident. Each party denies involvement and so far no one has claimed responsibility.
